SAC Argentina - Community Alert System
SAC Argentina is a free mobile application developed by the Municipalidad de Godoy Cruz. It falls under the category of Utilities & Tools. The app allows the community to send three types of notifications to the Municipalidad de Godoy Cruz's comprehensive monitoring center.
The first type of notification is "ALERT," which can be used to notify of an impending danger. The app detects if the user is at home when they press the alert button and simultaneously activates the alarm while contacting the monitoring center. If the user is outside the coverage area of the monitoring center, the app indicates their geolocation to the center's personnel.
The second type of notification is "EMERGENCY," which allows users to send notifications of a medical emergency along with their geolocation.
The third type of notification is "GENDER VIOLENCE," which activates the gender violence protocol. Similar to the ALERT notification, the app detects the user's location when they press the alert button and simultaneously activates the alarm while contacting the monitoring center. If the user is outside the coverage area of the monitoring center, the app indicates their geolocation to the center's personnel.
Additionally, users can send Silent Alerts to report various incidents. The community can also add new alerts as needed, and these alerts allow users to attach a description when sending the alert.
